Who I am
I am a mindfulness teacher and Dharma teacher, former Plum Village monastic, and direct disciple of Thich Nhất Hạnh. Rooted in the teachings of interbeing, my path bridges contemplative practice and collective care. My facilitation weaves together meditation, relational practice, and ecological awareness, offering pathways for individuals and communities to live with compassion and authenticity. My approach is warm and friendly, rooted in living practice, and tailored to your needs and for where you are in your life.
Born in France to a French father and an English mother, I have always lived between worlds, cultures, languages, lineages, and ways of understanding the heart. That in-between place became not a source of uncertainty, but of deep curiosity and openness. It is from there that I have walked, and from there that I offer my companionship to others.
After completing a degree in Western Philosophy, I discovered the Buddhist community of Plum Village, nestled in the very region of the Dordogne where my French ancestors had lived since the mid-16th century. Returning to the land of my lineage, I found something I hadn't known I was looking for.
I spent two years living in the Plum Village community before ordaining as a monastic for 17 years. The practice of living alongside others, learning, sitting, working, and being in silence together, shaped my understanding of what it means to truly show up for life.
For nearly ten years, I lived, practiced and received direct transmission from Thich Nhất Hạnh. More than a teacher-student relationship, it was a transmission, quiet, steady, and profound. To be near him was to witness someone who did not merely speak about peace and love, but who embodied them completely, in every gesture, every step, every silence. His presence was itself a teaching. Over those years, something of that way of being seeped into me: the understanding that "being peace" and "being love" are not ideals to strive toward, but a living reality that can be inhabited, breath by breath, moment by moment. That transmission remains at the heart of everything I offer.
Living within a predominantly Vietnamese monastic community opened me to a profound and layered experience. Knowing that my grandfather had been in Indochina, the encounter with my Vietnamese brothers and sisters carried unexpected depth. With humility and tenderness, some of my monastic siblings and I found ways to acknowledge the past and move toward healing together , a quiet, human repair that I hold with great care.
Devoted to making the Buddha's teachings genuinely accessible, I organized and led retreats across the SWANA region (Southwest Asia and North Africa), taking great care to offer the teachings in ways that felt resonant and respectful to local participants, honoring each community's own language, sensitivity, and way of knowing.
I am currently deepening my training in Somatic EMDR with Embody Lab and in Gestalt Therapy with the Gestalt Institutes of the Rockies, continuing to grow, alongside those I accompany.
I am committed to creating space where people from all walks of life feel genuinely welcomed, seen, and supported in their own unfolding. I look froward to learning more about you.
